Where: 250 King Manor Dr., King of Prussia (Montco).
What: A relatively large (30 bbl) brewhouse for a newbie, this place is built for growth. For now, beer will be available only on draft, and mainly at the brewery.
Who: Co-founder Dan Hershberg is a local guy/sports nut who owned an sports-centric apparel company. Brewmaster Nate Olewine formerly worked at Devil’s Backbone and Victory Brewing. COO Liz Madsen has a marketing background in startups.
When: Opening Friday (9/14), with taproom hours daily except Mondays.
Etc.: This place is getting a lot of buzz because of its potential for growth. With 70,000 square feet of space, its facility is equal in size to Yards’ new brewery on Spring Garden Street. Of course, most of the space is currently unused, and growth is not easy in a crowded market. But if things go its way, this brewery has the potential to become a major player on the local scene.
